Car ploughs into primary school and sparks mass evacuation of pupils
A car has ploughed into a primary school building sparking a mass evacuation of the pupils.
The crash happened at Beacon Church of England Primary School in Everton, Liverpool, at around 8.30am.
Police, paramedics and fire engines were called and rushed to the school to help where witnesses saw a white car drive through the wall.
Officers have confirmed that a woman who was inside the car is being assessed and a passenger has suffered a minor injury.

A spokesman has said that no further injuries have been reported and no children were in the area at the time of the crash.
A forensics team are now on the scene and are taking photographic evidence.
Pictures taken at the scene show a large hole in a wall with bricks and debris covering the floor.
Children's art work can be seen stuck to the windows, one of which is broken off, next to the wall that the car crashed through.
It has been reported that the room the car crashed into is used as the 'nursery room' for two to three year old children.
Video footage posted to X shows five police vehicles, an ambulance and a fire engine all outside the school.

The pupils at the primary school were reportedly evacuated and have since been sent home.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the school will be closed for the rest of the day.
Beacon Church of England Primary School teaches children between the ages of two and 11.
A cordon has been put in place along a section of the street and the police have closed off the road.
A spokesperson for Beacon Church of England School told the Liverpool Echo: 'We are shocked at today’s incident but relieved that no children were in the classroom at the time.
'We would like to thank staff for the calm and professional manner in which they have dealt with this and for pupils, parents and carers for responding well and enabling us to evacuate the area safely.
'We are also very grateful for the prompt response of the emergency services. We will have the building properly assessed as a priority and hope to be able to open the majority of the building tomorrow but will confirm this directly to the school community in due course.'
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: 'We can confirm that emergency services are in Everton following a road traffic collision at a school this morning, Monday 22 April.
'At around 8.30am, reports were received of a car in collision with The Beacon Primary School in Heyworth Street, Everton.
'The female driver of the car is being assessed at the scene. A passenger in the car sustained a minor injury.
'No other injuries were reported and no children were present in the area of the collision.
'The building will be assessed for any structural damage.
'The school will be closed for the rest of the day and road closures are in place. Please avoid the area.'
